SafeShel Showcased at the Irish Water Safety Conference

We were proud to take part in this year’s Irish Water Safety Conference, hosted at the stunning Mulranny Park Hotel in County Mayo. The event brought together professionals from county councils across Ireland, emergency responders, and water safety advocates – all focused on enhancing safety and preparedness.

Demonstrating the Benefits of SafeShel

During our presentation, we introduced attendees to the key features and real-world benefits of SafeShel. Designed to deliver privacy, protection, and dignity during emergency situations, SafeShel offers a quick-deploy shelter for various sectors, but for this event we mainly discussed how SafeShel is ideal for:

  • Water sports incidents
  • Drowning response
  • Outdoor activity accidents
  • Public events

By creating a controlled and private environment, SafeShel helps emergency responders focus on life-saving interventions while shielding casualties from the elements and public view.

Building Connections That Matter

Our stand at the event was a great opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with passionate professionals in rescue and emergency care. It was inspiring to see the level of interest in how SafeShel is supporting safer, more respectful emergency response practices across various environments.

We also had the pleasure of meeting Darren Forde from Eco Powered Cabinets, who is doing incredible work in developing sustainable, solar-powered cabinet solutions. It was great to connect and explore shared values around innovation, mobility, and supporting frontline teams with practical tools.

Looking Ahead

We’re grateful to Irish Water Safety for hosting such an insightful and impactful event. Moments like these reinforce the importance of innovation in saving lives – and we’re proud that SafeShel is playing a part in shaping the future of on-scene emergency care.
